I’ve heard plenty of thoughtful comments that I disagree with on NPR, as well as folks I agree with. I think they are looking for folks who are thoughtful and not prone to loose cannon type outbursts. Dialogue and conversation work best when people actually listen and have a bit of humility. This is needed now more than ever!
